Niramala Sitharaman meets family of martyred soldier

New Delhi, June 20: Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday met the family of martyred Indian Army soldier Aurangzeb in J&K's Poonch.

Accompanied by high-ranking officials from Indian Army and J&K Police, Sitharaman offered her condolences and assured family members of the soldier that the perpatrators of the ghastly crime would be brought to justice.

"I came to meet martyr's family. I have spent some time here. One message I can take back from here is that here's a family, here's a martyr, who stands out as an inspiration for us and that is the message that I am carrying from here," she told media persons after the meeting.
