Rajinikanth-Shanker Movie Delayed

Hyderabad, June 16: Super Star Rajinikanth and star director Shankar most prestigious film in the Industry is 2.o.

Movie shooting was completed long ago but it will take a while to release the film.

A report published in a daily said that significant VFX portions are yet to be completed and it is unlikely that the makers will be able to bring the film out by 2018.

According to the believed sources, "With the amount of VFX work on 2.0 that is still pending, there is no way the makers will be able to release the film this year. In fact, the producers are currently working out a perfect release date for the film that will now hit screens in 2019. An announcement of the same will be done in the last quarter of the year."

Shankar finished shooting two years ago with a budget of more than 400 crores. But it takes a lot of time for graphics tasks.

2.0, directed by Shankar, is the second part of Enthiran, which is about the robot Chitti. It demonstrates incredible Artificial Intelligence.

2.0 stars Akshay Kumar as the antagonist and Amy Jackson in the female lead.
