Greater Noida, June 10: Here is brutal incident has unveiled while, A two-year-old girl, who was found dead on Wednesday in a field near the temple was allegedly strangled by a 12-year-old boy who had tried to assault her sexually.

The girl had strayed from her neighbouring house hours before her body was found. The boy has been registered with a murder case and has been sent to a juvenile home.

The girl suffered injury marks on her face, neck, and back. Her right eye was also damaged, suggesting that she had been hit with a brick.

The boy in his confession said that he had taken the girl to a deserted field from the house, with an attempt to assault her. But when the girl started crying, he feared that it will attract the villagers and hence hit her repeatedly with bricks and throttled her to death. A medical report has not confirmed rape.

The police visited the village and questioned the locals. They also scanned a CCTV footage from a house in which the boy was seen taking the girl away from the place she was playing.

Villagers said the boy was addicted to mobile phones and watched porn sites through the day. The girl's parents are daily-wage labourers.

The boy has been produced before the Child Welfare Committee and sent to a juvenile home. The juvenile's father works as a house painter while his mother is a homemaker.
