Petrol & Diesel prices Cut down Heavily

New Delhi, June 09: Petrol prices have been reduced for the 11th day However, the highest reduction in the last ten days has been low. Oil companies have announced that it will cut 40 paise on petrol and 30 paise on diesel. This reduction is effective from 6 am today.
Besides Delhi, the revised Petrol prices in other metro cities are - Rs 79.68 in Kolkata, Rs 84.84 in Mumbai and Rs 79.95 in Chennai.
Meanwhile, the revised Diesel price was Rs 70.83 in Kolkata, Rs 72.70 in Mumbai and 72.08 in Chennai.
The OPEC group of nations is slated to meet later this month to decide on raising production of oil to ease concerns relating to production shortfall in countries like Venezuela and Iran.
