Jobs: 24,000 vacancies in Software

Hyderabad, June 07: Here is the good news for the Software Students, as the biggest Software company TCS has given 20,000 job offers to fresh graduates and another 4,000 to non-freshers this year, a top executive said on Wednesday,

It is known that the hiring of engineers by the information technology (IT) industry is expected to decline in the coming years, but TCS is given such a sensational offer.

Around 70 percent of those offered jobs are expected to join the company — a trend seen in the previous years too.

Ajoyendra Mukherjee, executive vice-president and head of global human resources, TCS, said the company had carried out an off-campus recruitment drive in January- February.

The company has provided 40 thousand offer letters in 2015, totaling 35 thousand this year. The TCS hopes that 70 percent of those who receive these offers will join their company. TCS has been carrying out recycling programs for the last few years.
