Forbes List: Only 1 Indian

New Delhi, June 06: Indian cricket Player Virat Kohli is once again the only cricketer on the annual list of the world's 100 highest paid athletes, published today by Forbes magazine.

According to the details,Virat Kohli is No.83 on this year's list with estimated earnings of US$24m (approx AU$31.4m), of which $20m is estimated to come from endorsements and the remaining $4m from his salary.

The Indian Skipper Kohli is not just cricket-crazy India's biggest name but is also one of the most popular athletes in the world, "boasting more Twitter followers (25 million-plus) than all but three active sports stars.

Kohli, who was ranked 89th last year with 22 million dollars last year, improved his position this year. There is not one woman in the top 100 list this year. Only last year's top tennis player Serena Williams was ranked on the list.
