Jordan's PM resigned Amid Protest

Jordan's Prime Minister Honey Mulki resigned from his post. Countrywide concerns have been going on against him for the past few days.

According to the sources, The resignation, was said to have been brokered during a meeting with the country's King Abdullah II, who called for "national dialogue" in the wake of public anger over tax increases imposed as part of an International Monetary Fund (IMF) austerity package designed to reduce the Middle Eastern country's debt.

Mulki opposed the decision to cancel the tax bill introduced with IMF support. The decision to approve the bill is in the hands of the Parliament.
