Pawan Kalyan getting Support

Srikakulam, May 26: The Actor turned politician and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan began a one-day hunger strike at Datla resort in the district on Friday, demanding that the state government immediately address the problems faced by the people in Uddanam area who are suffering from a strange chronic kidney disease (CKD).

He is expected to shift the venue of his hunger strike to Municipal Stadium in Srikakulam on Saturday. The protest will end at 5 pm.

Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan has received support from CPI and CPM to his one day deeksha demanding government to address the problems of people suffering from kidney ailments.

CPI and CPM leader P Madhu and Ramakrishna joined the Pawan's stir and extended their solidarity to Jana Sena leader. They alleged the TDP government was showing indifference towards solving the kidney patients. Nearly 60,000 kidney patients died in 20 years due to non availability of proper medical treatment in Uddanam village in Srikakulam district.

They lashed out at the ministers for concentrating on only promoting sand and mining mafia in the district. They warned TDP will no longer survive in the coming days.
