TRS Minister: I'm a big fan of Balakrishna

Hyderabad, May 24: Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao participated in the inauguration of Bone Marrow Transplant Unit in Basavatharakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital as a Chief Guest.

On this occasion, KTR told his Father named him as Taraka Rama Rao out of respect for NT Rama Rao. He pledged, 'I won't indulge in any activities which damage the reputation of NTR's name'.

KTR disclosed his Mother had told him about Basavatharakam Cancer Hospital at least 100 times and advised him to do something for the convenience of patients on behalf of the Government. He told his Mother had reminded him about her appeal once again after becoming Municipal Minister.

"There is no bigger brand ambassador for Cancer Awareness Programs than Balayya. I am his big fan. I will always live up to the name of NTR and will never do anything which brings a bad name to NTR," KTR said to the crowd at the event.

Balakrishna opined KCR choose such a name for his Son due to the inspiration he received from NTR.

"Basavatharakam Cancer Hospital began functioning with 40 beds. Today, It's able to provide Worldclass medical facilities. Proud that Minister KTR inaugurated BMT Unit Today," he said.
