Telangana CM inquires about Rythu Bandhu

Hyderabad, May 22: The Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has called a high-level meeting on Tuesday with officers and Ministers concerned to review the programme of distribution of cheques under Rythu Bandhu scheme as well as the distribution of pattadar passbooks.

The meeting to be held at Pragathi Bhavan will also draw a strategy for effective completion of passbook distribution and investment support scheme in the coming days.

Deputy Chief Minister Mohammad Ali, Minister for Agriculture Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Chief Secretary S K Joshi, Principal Secretaries of Finance, Agriculture, Revenue, CCLA officials and agriculture officers will participate in the meeting.

The high-level meeting will also review the life insurance scheme for farmers. Based on the discussions with LIC representatives the insurance scheme for farmers will be formulated.
