Relief for Petrol Lovers

New Delhi, May 21: As we all knew that, petrol prices have been rising day by day and inched towards the all-time price in the history, in this regard, the government on Sunday promised a "solution" soon.




The details of the plan, however, were scarce. "I accept that people of India and especially the middle-class families have to suffer a lot due to price hike of oil. It's not in our hand. There is less production of oil in OPEC countries. The Indian government will soon come out with a solution," petroleum minister Dhamendra Pradhan told media persons in Bhubaneswar.

"The unilateral decision of the OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) nations to reduce production, political instability in Venezuela and American sanction against Iran" behind the steady rise in fuel prices. "Crude production has reduced by 2.5 million barrel in past some months," the minister said.
