New Delhi, May 20: Former Indian Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni became the fifth Indian to score 6000 runs in Twenty20 cricket across all tournaments.
According to the details, He reached the landmark with a single off Amit Mishra in the 13th over of Chennai Super Kings' match against Delhi Daredevils, which the latter won by 34 runs at the Feroz Shah Kotla on Friday.
Before him, Suresh Raina (7708), Virat Kohli (7621), Rohit Sharma (7303) and Gautam Gambhir (6402) had reached the landmark.
The 36-year-old now has 6007 runs to his name from 290 T20 matches.
Dhoni has been in great form this year. He is enjoying his best IPL in the history of the tournament and excelling in his role higher up the order.
