PV Sindhu not in the list of Telangana Govt, why?

Hyderabad, May 18: The Telangana government has announced cash prizes for the medalists in Commonwealth Games. However, the medalist Shatler PV Sindhu is not on the list of cash prizes.

Saina Nehwal Rs. 50 lakhs and another Shatler Sikki Reddy Rs. 30 lakhs, Ruthika Shivani Rs. 20 lakhs, boxer Mohammad Hussamuddin Rs. 25 lakh prizes announced.

In the Telangana region, the name Sindhu was not included in the list. We knew that PV Sindhu was deputy collector post in Andhra Pradesh, so in this aspect, The Telangana government refused to give a cash prize to AP officer, Sindhu.

Earlier, the Telangana government allotted a 1,000 square-yard plot to badminton star and 2016 Rio Olympics silver medallist PV Sindhu.

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao handed over the order of allotment of land to the two-time World Championships medallist at Pragati Bhavan, the CM's official residence.
