RGV's officer film copied?

Hyderabad, May 18: Tollywood Scriptwriter P Jaya Kumar has allegedly leaked the complete script of Ram Gopal Varma's upcoming movie Officer starring Akkineni Nagarjuna after the makers, as he claims, did not give him credit for the story.

P Jaya Kumar had recently expressed his outburst on Ram Gopal Varma, but the latter has denied him the credit. He took to Twitter on Thursday afternoon to inform the reason for leaking the script of Officer.

P Jaya Kumar said, "In the year 2015, I've conceptualized the original story about "A police officer from Hyderabad is appointed as the chief of a Special Investigation Team constituted by Mumbai High Court and posted in Mumbai to investigate the fake encounters, corruption and racketeering allegations on a Mumbai based corrupt cop."

P Jaya Kumar said, " I shared my script with Ram Gopal Varma, the filmmaker also showed his interest and asked me to send the final script. Later I send the final script to Ram Gopal Varma to his mail id. Ram Gopal Varma told me that he would inform me when the production of the film would commence. I was surprised when I saw the official teasers and trailers of Officer on Youtube in which Akkineni Nagarjuna is playing the lead role because Officer is a carbon copy of my work. Ram Gopal Varma has copied my script. The content, idea, shots and everything are taken from my script. I also have proof."

For this, The Director Ram Gopal Varma yet to respond on this issue.
