Telangana: Govt employees get ready for the good news

Hyderabad, May 09: The KCR government is ready to give good news to Telangana government employees and teachers.

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, who will be meeting the job and teacher unions at 2 pm on 14th of this month, will announce the formation of the Pay Revision Committee (PRC).

A cabinet sub-committee had been appointed by the CM to listen to the grievances of the employees. The committee, headed by finance minister Etela Rajender and with ministers KT Rama Rao and G Jagadishwar Reddy as members, held meetings with the union leaders and is set to submit a report to the CM on May 11.

Sources said the CM will discuss financial implications of the employee's demands with the chief secretary and finance secretary.

The meeting will discuss the demands of the 18 demands and teachers' unions to raise the issue of retirement age hike, transfers, PRCs and Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS).
