Chandrababus Vote-for-note case reviewed by KCR

Hyderabad, May 08: The Telangana Chief Minister KCR has conducted a review over the 'Vote-for-note' case in Pragathi Bhavan for over two hours. Telangana DGP, ACP DG, Retired IPS Officer AK Khan, government officials and lawyers were present in the meeting.

It is known that TDP MLA Revanth Reddy was caught offering a bribe of Rs 50 lakhs to a Nominated MLA for his vote in the Telangana Legislative Council. At that time, the political scandal created a ruckus in Telangana and AP politics.

Reviewing the case with elections ahead, clearly means that KCR is trying to put a check to Chandrababu Naidu. It could either be to limit Chandrababu's influence on national politics, given the fact that KCR is venturing in the same line or/and ensure that TDP is dusted both in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

With the crucial evidence against Chandrababu Naidu in the vote-for-note case, it looks like KCR has planned something big for the AP CM in the coming few months.

Sources confirmed that KCR enquired about the evidence collected at the time of the incident, and the forensic lab report on the recorded voice calls involving Stephenson, CBN, Revanth Reddy and other TDP leaders.
