A new WhatsApp message being circulated can crash

Hyderabad, May 07: If you own a smartphone, there's a high chance you also use WhatsApp to stay connected with your friends and family. But one particular message got our attention after it went viral with a bold claim of crashing WhatsApp.

And it's said to be targeting both Android and Apple iPhone users. In some cases, users have reportedly been forced to restart their smartphones.

A seemingly innocuous string of characters with an emoji at the end recieved as a forward on WhatsApp is claimed to be the culprit here. The said message reads: "This is very interesting!" and has a crying laughing emoji at the end.

The prank message that is being circulated on WhatsApp shows a black dot just below the bold text challenging you. When a user touches it, your WhatsApp will definitely hang.
