CM KCR invites Civil Services topper Anudeep for lunch

Hyderabad, May 07: The Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has invited All India Civil Services topper Anudeep and his parents for lunch at Pragati Bhavan on Monday afternoon, an official release said here on Sunday.

Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Anudeep Durishetty, a native of Metpally village in Jagatyal district, has topped the Civil Services Examination 2017, the results of which was announced by the UPSC recently.

In his fifth and last attempt in Civil Services examinations 2017, Anudeep made Telangana proud by emerging as the topper.

Prior to joining the IRS, he served as a product quality analyst with Google in Hyderabad. He is an enthusiast of artificial intelligence.

The 28-year-old IRS officer hails from a well-educated family and his father Manohar is an Assistant Divisional Engineer with the Northern Power Distribution Company Limited, Telangana.
