CM KCR to launch 'Rythu Bandhu' scheme

Hyderabad, May 06: For the first time in the country, the Raithu Bandhu scheme will be started in Karimnagar district in Huzurabad on January 10, according to Economic and Civil Supplies Minister Etala Rajendar.

Speaking to the media, he said the CM KCR will start this scheme in Indiranagar in Huzurabad and more than one lakh farmers will attend the event.

The Minister said along with the cheques, the Chief Minister would distribute updated pattadar passbooks among farmers in the village.

Finance Minister Etela Rajender said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had started the agitation for Telangana statehood from Karimnagar, and added that the programmes started from the district ended in becoming grand successes.
