AP Deputy CM responded over recent Rape incidents

Kakinada, May 05: The Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Chinarajappa reacted to the recent rapes cases of Dachepalli and Tammayapet in the state and said they were sensitive issues.

He said that it was easy to identify thieves and goons, but it was very difficult to detect the culprit when he blends into the crowd and is a part of a social milieu. "One only wishes that such incidents will bring awareness among the people and they also develop a lifestyle based on ethics."

Chinarajappa said that porn was freely available through YouTube and it was accessible to children easily. He said that free and easy access to porn was the reason for people developing perversions. There was a need to educate people while trying to restrict access to porn, he said.

The Deputy CM expressed his surprise over the rise in the number of cases despite death penalty being levied on the culprits. He said the offenders would not be spared irrespective of their social status and political affiliations.
