What about the rest of the rape cases?

Guntur, May 05: The Andhra Pradesh Opposition YSR Congress Party MLA RK Roja and several others staged a dharna at Guntur government hospital in protest against the incident.

The YSR Congress leaders alleged that the TDP legislators were also indulged in such heinous crimes and it was proved in the report released by Associate For Democratic Reforms recently.

When the leaders were staging the dharna, police took them into preventive custody and shifted them to nearby hospitals.

She said it was shameful that such atrocities were happening in Guntur district, where the CM himself resides. She said there were nine rape cases in Guntur district in the past few days.

Roja reminded that the TDP leaders were involved in call money sex racket and the police, instead of booking them, had actually acted as bouncers for the TDP leaders. She said the chief minister should resign owning responsibility for the atrocities on women.
