New Delhi, April 24: The CEO of the NITI AAYOG has made sensational remarks on the western states of India like Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh Rajasthan etc.saying that they are the reasons for the social backwardness of the country.
Even though there has been progressing in the ease of doing business they are drill lagging behind in the Human development he said.
He reminded people of India's rank in the Human development index(HDI)where it ranks 131st out of 183 countries.He has stated that southern and eastern States of India are far ahead in development.
He said that they are facing the question of the development of the country. Amitabh Kant has also opined that their work must see increasing opportunities of women in the ever growing country.
