Indeed signs MoU with Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge

Hyderabad, Apr 23: The world's number one job site Indeed, decided to help people find jobs, announced its collaboration with the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) towards supporting the government-driven endeavor to skill the youth in Telangana and improve employability in the state.

Through the MoU, Indeed will offer TASK registered students the chance to attend educational lectures and career development workshops, as well as internship opportunities. This will help create greater awareness to the scope for employment and also offer the chance to undergo practical training in the technology field.



Speaking at the MoU ceremony, Mr Douglas Gray, Senior Vice President - Engineering, Indeed said, "As Hyderabad is one of the leading hubs for tech talent in the country, it is important that the talent emerging from the region has the requisite skills that the industry demands, in order to meet the growing need for a skilled workforce. We are committed to assisting TASK in its endeavor to equip the future workforce with the right skills to ensure employability."

Mr Sujiv Nair, Chief Executive Officer, TASK, added, "TASK and Indeed will work together towards creating a professionally-equipped workforce in the near future." Indeed shall also be assisting TASK with donating laptops to impart training to its registered students, according to a company statement here.
