CSK Hampered by Faf du Plessis and Kedar Jadhav Injuries Ahead of KKR Clash

Chennai, Apr 10: Here is another blow for the Chennai Super Kings as the South African Player Faf Du Plessis would miss the match against Kolkata Knight Riders here on today in Chennai.

AS it is a home game for the CSK, this is the huge blow for the Mahendra Singh Led Team.

MS Dhoni-led CSK is making a comeback after two years, and the two-time champions have already been given fresh injury blows.

"I believe Faf is not in full training at the moment. He is recovering from a slight side strain. And he also has a small fracture in his one of his fingers. He is going to be ramping up his training in the next seven days. He is hopeful to be available for selection in the next game against Mohali, the CSK batting coach said.

Faf du Plessis is not yet ready to play the IPL as he has a slight side strain and a small fracture in a finger and is expected to be ready for the game in Mohali (on April 15 vs Kings XI Punjab), Chennai Super Kings batting coach Michael Hussey said on Monday.
