Aishwarya Rai in Rajnikanth's 2.O

Chennai, Apr 05: The Tamil superhit film Endhiran which had Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai in the lead role was released in the year 2010. The film was directed by Shankar.

Now Shankar is directing the sequel to this film which is titled 2.O. This film has Rajinikanth in the lead role. Amy Jackson is donning the female lead role while Bollywood famous actor Akshay Kumar is donning the villain role. Others in the cast are Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain, Kalabhavan Shajohn and Riyaz Khan.

A R Rahman is composing the music while G K Vishnu has handled the camera. Anthony is editing the film. The shooting of the film is over and the post-production works are going on in rapid pace. The graphics and VFX works are being done on par with Hollywood film.

At this juncture, dubbing artist Savitha Reddy who dubbed for Aishwarya Rai in the film Endhiran has mentioned that Aishwarya Rai has donned an important role in this 2.O

Aishwarya Rai will be the connecting factor between Endhiran and 2.O

The film could not be released since the graphic works are going on. It is expected that the film will be released by end of the year.
