10 killed in Indore hotel building collapse

New Delhi, April 01: In a major Incident, As many as 10 people were killed after a four-storeyed building collapsed here in Sarwate area on Saturday night.
Taking cognizance of the matter, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday announced compensation of Rs 2 lakh each to the kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 for each of the injured.
Seven people were rescued from the debris as locals joined the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) in relief operations.
Many students were staying at the hotel. First, a portion of the right side of the hotel collapsed on an auto parts shop and an ATM. Then, all the whole thing came down, said the man who runs a pan kiosk next to the hotel
