Mumbai, Mar 29: Bharti Airtel has announced a new recharge pack worth Rs. 65 for select prepaid subscribers. Under the offer, Airtel is providing 1GB of data that comes with 28 days of validity. Notably, the Rs. 65 prepaid pack does not offer 4G data, rather it is 1GB of 2G or 3G data for the entire validity period.
Meanwhile, for users who wish to avail more data and higher speeds, Airtel is also offering a Rs. 98 recharge pack which gives 2GB of 4G/3G data for a validity period of 28 days.
Airtel has launched several plans in recent times to stay in the tariff war which began after the arrival of Reliance Jio on the scene. The Mukesh Ambani-led telecom disruptor offers 1.05GB of 4G data which is valid for 7 days. Jio also has a Rs 98 plan which offers 2GB of 4G data with a validity period of 28 days.
As part of the operator’s continued war against Reliance Jio, a new offer for Airtel VoLTE Beta testers offers 30GB of free data. The idea behind the free data is to have beta testers provide feedback to the company ahead of the steady rollout of VoLTE services in the country. In return, the company will offer free data.
