Metro Rail Extends to Shamshabad Airport

Hyderabad, Mar 25: As we knew that, The Telangana Govt has started the Metro Rail Services in Hyderabad City, The Government is planning to finish the Metro Rail to Shamshabad airport by general elections in 2019.

We knew that, Shamshabad Airport one of the Biggest Airport in the country, In order to travel ease for the passengers the govt extending the Metro to Shamshabad.

For this the 400 crores funds have been cleared, Normal Metro Rail works are going on in other areas of Hyderabad but this project has come up recently and it took more interest of Government.

As the Government is planning to improve the outer ring road areas and make it a commercial destination for business people, a metro from Gacchibowl covering 37 kilometers distance is a more viable plan for Government.

They are thinking to increase the regular speed of the Metro Rail from 85 Km/hr to 135 km/hr and also limit the stations to 5 at maximum.Hence, the travel time will reduce to 20 minutes.
