TSRTC to run minibuses to pilgrim centers across Telangana

Hyderabad, Mar 22: The TSRTC will operate eight package tours with mini AC buses from different colonies of the twin cities to various pilgrim towns in the State during this summer. The RTC is already operating four minibusses from Yadadri bus station to temple on the hilltop.

Proposals have been cleared to operate three mini AC buses from Jubilee Bus Station to Yadadri temple.

Of the total eight package tours, buses will be operated to Yadadri, Vemulawada, Kondagattu, Komuravelli, Dharmapuri, Bhadrachalam, Basara, Alampur, Somasila, Ramappa temple, Bhadrakali temple in Hanamkonda and Srisailam in Andhra Pradesh.

“We will also operate two package tours to tourists spots Ananatagiri and Nagarjuna Sagar from Hyderabad,” said Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy while replying to a question in the Legislative Assembly on Wednesday.

The Minister said the government has achieved good results from the operation of minibusses and hence, took a decision to operate them to various pilgrim centers and tourism spots from April 1. He said the government would consider the buses operated by Setwin for such services.
