SHE Teams arrested a cab driver

Hyderabad, Mar 20: In a woman assaulted case, The cab driver of a private travel agency was arrested by the Cyberabad SHE Team on charges of misbehaving with a 21-year-old woman passenger in Shamshabad on Monday.

According to police, the incident occurred around 10 am. when the woman was on her way to college. The suspect, identified as Thirumalesh, in his mid-30s, was going towards Attapur and the victim boarded the car from near the Shamshabad bus-stop.

A senior police officer said he tried to misbehave with the woman passenger who sat in the front passenger seat."She was alone. He covered the windows with sunscreens and misbehaved with her. However, the woman managed to get down from the vehicle and informed SHE Teams through the WhatsApp number," he said. A case was booked and investigation is on.
