Man killed by his wife's Paramour

Hyderabad, Mar 19: In a brutal incident, A 40-year-old man was murdered by his wife and her lover on Friday at Qutbullapur. The victim, Simhachalam from Patigadda married Vijaya 18 years ago and the couple also has two sons.

Simachalam along with his family moved to Hyderabad from Srikakulam few years back and used to borrow money from a private financier Gowri Naidu.

To collect interest, Naidu used to visit Simhachalam's house daily and managed to befriend Vijaya, further starting an intimate relationship with her.

However, Simachalam began suspecting the relationship and threatened his wife.

On Thursday night, he came home drunk and picked up a quarrel with Vijaya. While he left the house at 8 pm, Vijaya alerted Naidu and family members found Simachalam lying unconscious in front of the house at 4am on Friday.

With the help of neighbours, Vijaya rushed him to a doctor who confirmed that Simhachalam had died. Vijaya informed everyone people that he might have died due to ill health.

The incident came to the notice of police on Saturday after the neighbours noticed injury marks on Simhachalam’s body. His sons told the police regarding the suspicious movement of Naidu at their house on Friday.

Vijaya was arrested and later she even confessed that Naidu strangled Simhachalam while she kept a watch. Police have launched a manhunt to nab Naidu.
