Telangana CM KCR extends Ugadi greetings to Telugu People

Hyderabad, Mar 18: The Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and Governor ESL Narasimhan on Saturday extended greetings for Ugadi the Telugu New Year to the people of Telangana.

Ugadi 2018, which marks the beginning of Sri Vilamba Nama Samvatsaram, will be celebrated on Sunday.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao wished that in Sri Vilambi Telugu New Year, people live in peace, happiness and prosperity. He also desired that welfare and development schemes and programmes being implemented by the government would reach them. He prayed that they march ahead in the direction of development this New Year.

Narasimhan said Ugadi is a festival of joy, and hoped it would bring in cheer and a bright future to people of the State. He also wished that Sri Vilambi Nama Samvatsaram will usher in peace, prosperity, harmony and happiness to all.
