Governor extends Ugadi grettings to Telugu People

Hyderabad, Mar 17: The Telangana and Andhra Pradesh common Governor ESL Narasimhan greeted Telugu people on the occasion of 'Sri Vilambi Nama Ugadi' festival on March 18.

In a message here on Saturday, the Governor said “On this happy and auspicious occasion of Ugadi, the Telugu New Year Day, I extend my warmest greetings to the people of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and to the Telugu people across the World.

Ugadi is a festival of joy and hope and the New Year shall bring with it new cheer and a bright future.

"I am confident that 'Sri Vilambi Nama Samvatsaram' will usher in peace, prosperity, harmony and happiness to all people and sections of the society ", Mr Narasimhan said.

The Telugu states Governor ESL Narasimhan will be released the New Year's English Srivilambanama 'panchagam' translated by prominent Siddhanti Yalamanchi Sridhar Sarma in Raj Bhavan on Saturday.
