Telangana Legislative Council Chairmain injured

Hyderabad, March 12: In an unfortunate incident, The Legislative Council Chairman Swamy Goud has been injured which took place just a while ago in the Telangana State Assembly.

The Congress leaders tried to oppose Governor ESL Narasimhan's address in Assembly. During the governor's address, Congress MLA Komatireddy Venkat threw his headphones away, opposing the governor's speech. Unfortunately, the headphones struck Legislative Council Chairman Swamy Goud, and his eye got injured. He was immediately rushed to Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital.

The doctors have treated him and informed that there is no considerable damage to his eye. Swamy Goud was seen bleeding as he was coming out of the Assembly. The TRS government became very serious about the incident, and disciplinary action against Komatireddy Venkat Reddy is expected to be taken tomorrow in the assembly.

During a press meet, Telangana CM KCR warned the Congress leaders that, they will be suspended if they try to disrupt the budget sessions. The situation of Swamy Goud is currently stable.
