Xi Jinping's line clear

Beijing Mar 11: In a Move that ensures that the current president remains in power for indefinite terms the country has abolished terms for the post of president.

Currently, president term is fixed for 5 years and a president cannot be ruled for more than 2 terms. Currently, Xi Jinping is the president of China and had already got an extension for the second term.

Earlier the Communist party had proposed the amendments and the parliament has passed the constitutional amendment in this regard.The constitutional amendment was passed in parliament with 2,958 in favor, two against and three abstentions.

Earlier some people have criticized the move and said that it was an autocratic move but the government had not taken the criticism as currently there is no democracy. sources said that this move would ensure that current president would continue for indefinite period.
