President accepts resignation of TDP ministers

New Delhi, Mar 09: In breaking news, resignations of TDP MPs Ashok Gajapathi Raju and YS Chowdary have been accepted by the President.

Earlier the Finance Minister had categorically rejected the proposal of special category status and the TDP had decided to pull out of NDA and has directed union Cabinet Ministers YS Chowdhary and A Raju to resign from central Government.

In a tit-for-tat response, the two BJP ministers in the Andhra Pradesh government – K Srinivasa Rao and T Manikyala Rao – also quit.

The Ministers have met PM Modi and submitted their resignations and explained the reasons for their resignations.

Earlier PM had a conversation with AP CM Chandra Babu for 10 minutes as he was unable to speak to him yesterday.The TDP Members have decided to escalate the protest and the Ministers have said that we have decided to resign as per the instructions of AP CM.
