Arun Jaitley : NO Status Only Package for AP

New Delhi Mar 7: Union Finance Minister has addressed the Media over the issue of Andhra Pradesh and has made some sensational Comments.

FM Arun Jaitley has said that "there would be no Special status given to AP and only Special package would be given to AP".

FM has also said that "Finance Commission has denied grant of Special category states to the States and we would give an equivalent amount of funds to AP under the special package ".

He has also said that "Under the package extra 30 % Funds of the CSS would be given to the state of AP and it is up to to the state government in which form they would want the funds".

Jaitley has also said that "Tax incentives have already given to the state in the first two budgets and States have rights in GST ".

Finally, he said that "we would pay the extra amount of Revenue Deficit for 2014-15 as calculated by the Finance Commission and State would get Rs 1600 cr more and said that funds would not be allocated on the basis of Sentiment ".
