Vietnam President Arrives in India

New Delhi Mar 3: Prime Minister Narendra Modi On Saturday has met Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang and discussed steps to further strengthen the partnership between the two nations.

Ministry of External Affairs has tweeted that "PM @narendramodi and Vietnamese President Quang held fruitful talks and discussed steps to further strengthen comprehensive strategic partnership in defense & security, trade & investment, atomic energy, agriculture, S&T, tourism, oil & gas, as well as regional and global issues."

Earlier Vietnamese President paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat in Delhi and he has received a ceremonial reception at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

The president was received by President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi upon his arrival and currently, the leader is in a 3-day Visit to India.
