Dubai Prosecution gives clean chit to Boney Kapoor, closes Sridevi death case

Dubai Feb 27: In a Major shock top film lovers Popular Movie Actress Sridevi has died on Saturday night. The 54-year old actress passed away in Dubai. However many speculations have risen about her death after a forensic report revealed that she was dead due to accidental drowning.

However, the Dubai Public Prosecution Has closed the case and has given clean chit to her husband Boney Kapoor and the Dubai media and Police have tweeted that "Dubai Public Prosecution stressed that all regular procedures followed in such cases have been completed. As per the forensic report, the death of the Indian actress occurred due to accidental drowning following the loss of consciousness. The case has now been closed."

DMO has also tweeted that "Dubai Public Prosecution has approved the release of the body of the Indian actress Sridevi to her family following the completion of a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances of her death."
