Reputed IAS Officer TSR SUbramanian Passes away

New Delhi Feb 26: A Former Cabinet Secretary of Union Government and one of the reputed IAS Officer TSR Subramanian has passed away on Monday due to illness.Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Association has confirmed the news.

The IAS Association has tweeted that "Extremely shocked to hear the sad news of the demise of T S R Subramanian. He was the tallest amongst all and is a big loss for the IAS fraternity and the nation. Deepest Condolences to all family members. We hope and pray that your ideas and thoughts will continue to guide us."

The Reputed IAS officer has served in various positions of the government and played a key role in formulating various policies for government and he was the chairperson of the various committees which have recommended sweeping changes.

Union Ministers Smriti Irani and Nirmala Sitaraman have expressed their condolences to the IAS officer.
