Turkey neutralizes 1500 terrorists

Turkey Feb 16: Turkey has announced that it has neutralized 1500 terrorists . Country's Military in a Statement on Friday has said that " Turkey neutralized at least 1,551 terrorists belonging to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PYD/PKK) and Islamic State (IS) group in a military operation in Syria's Afrin region."

The military has also said that "The word neutralized may refer to that the terrorists in question either surrendered or were killed or captured."

The Military has launched operation 'Olive Branch' on January 20 to eliminate PYD/PKK and IS terrorists from Afrin in northwestern Syria. The Military has also said that "The main aim of the Turkish forces is to establish security and stability along Turkey's borders."
