Akhilesh Yadav slams UP government

Bihar, Feb 12: As we knew that, A brutal incident has occurred while a Dalit Law student was beaten to death by a rival group, at a restaurant in Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh (UP) here on Monday.

In this regard, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has launched a scathing attack on the Uttar Pradesh government and accused Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of failing to check soaring crime in the state.

On one hand innocent aspiring youngsters are facing such fate at the hands of criminals and on the other the police are targeting innocent people in encounters," Said Akhilesh.

He asked the government to give the student's family Rs 50 lakh in compensation.
