NEET 2018 Notification released, exam on May 6

New Delhi Feb 12: The CBSE has announced schedule for NEET- 2018.The National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2018 would be held on May 6. The Notification is available on official website www.cbseneet.nic.in.
Important dates
# last date of online application submission - March 9, 2018
# last date for payment of fee -March 10, 2018
# date of examination - May 6, 2018
Eligibility
# Indians or NRIs with valid documents
# Age 17-25 years
# 3o years for SC, ST and OBC candidates
# Candidates who have passed Grade 12 from Open Schools or as private candidates are not eligible
# He/she must have minimum 50% in PCB group (40% for SC/ST/OBC and 45% for General-PH).
Application Fee
# The fees payable for appearing for the exam is RS 1400 for general and OBC candidates
# RS 750 for SC, ST, and PH candidates.
Exam pattern
The NEET (UG) consists of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). The duration of the paper is three hours.
