AIMPLB Expells Salman Nadvi for meeting Sri Sri Ravishankar

New Delhi Feb 11: The All India Muslim Personal Law Board on Sunday had expelled their working committee member Maulana Salman Nadvi. The Decision in this regard was taken during a 3-day meeting which was concluded on Sunday.The meeting was held in Hyderabad.

The Board has also said that the stand on Babri Masjid has not changed. The AIMPLB members also discussed the model 'nikahnama' which includes a clause aimed at discouraging triple talaq.

Salman Nadvi has reacted to his expulsion and has said that "There is scope in Shariyat for shifting the Mosque. I am talking about Hindu-Muslim unity & solving this issue. I will be meeting saints in Ayodhya & also have a discussion with Hindu brothers from across India".

Earlier Nadvi had met with Art of Living Founder Sri Sri Ravishankar and has supported the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
