'I have been Delivered' to vote in Meghalaya

Meghalaya Feb 11: Italy, Argentina, Sweden and Indonesia would participate in the election of Meghalaya.The Polling for North Eastern state would be held on Feb 27. Are you surprised that how foreign nations would vote in Indian elections than you are wrong?

Italy, Argentina, Sweden, and Indonesia are the names of voters of Umniuh-Tmar Elaka village under Shella constituency in East Khasi Hills district of the state.

Officers have said that "Many people in the state have variety of English names and the voters have registered themselves with such names.The sleepy Elaka, which is close to the Indo-Bangladesh border, has a little over 850 male voters and 916 female voters and have a record number of peculiar names registered in the voter's list."

He added that many other people with names such as " Sisters Promiseland, Holyland Dkhar , Jerusalem Khiewtam, Thursday, Sunday, Tripura, and Goa, I Have Been Delivered'!" would also participate in the election.

"Table, Globe, Paper, Venus, Saturn, Arabian Sea, Pacific, Continent, Request, Loveliness, Happiness, Goodness, Unity, Bharat, Mumtaz, and Durga" would also vote in elections.
