AIADMK on Rajinikanth's remark: Generalised remarks not acceptable

Chennai, Feb 10: After actor Rajinikanth's remark on system, ruling party AIADMK said on Friday that generalised statements are not acceptable.

"If there is a mistake please point it out, but making generalised remarks is not acceptable," senior party leader and fisheries minister D Jayakumar told reporters here.

Following up on his "system is rotten" remark in May last year, Rajinikanth on Thursday said that the system needs to be corrected first in Tamil Nadu.

Asked whether his "system is rotten" remark referred to Tamil Nadu alone or the nation in general, Rajinikanth had said "first of all, in Tamil Nadu you have to correct it."
