Stock markets continue downward Trend

New Delhi Feb 9: The Stock market has continued its downward trend on Friday and has ended in losses. Recently the Stock markets have been crashing since past few days due to losses in American stock markets.

The Sensex has fallen 407.40 points or 1.18 percent to 34,005.76 on Friday. Nifty declined 121.90 points or 1.15 percent to 10,455.

About 1,424 shares advanced against 1,336 declining shares on the BSE.Nifty Midcap index outperformed equity benchmarks, rising 0.3 percent.

Sources said the market has collapsed because of the influence of American market and imposition of LTCG tax.

Experts said that drop in stock markets is also better so that a course correction takes place and common people can invest in the stock market.
