Maldives Crisis Deepens,China moves strageically

Maldives Feb 9: The major crisis in the Maldives has deepened these days and India is ready to intervene on this issue. However China has also responded to the issue. Chinese official has said that "We don't want the problem of Maldives to become a problem between Indian and China."

The crisis in the Maldives has deepened after its President Abdullah Yameen declaring a state of Emergency and arresting the Chief Justice and former head of state.

However, India is keeping an eye on the developments and has deployed the army on standby and is ready to take the action if the crisis deepens. The remarks from China assume siginificance because recently India has never compromised in the standoff that has arised in the doklam issue .
