Rahul Gandhi Supports Special Status for Andhra Pradesh

Amravati Feb 9: In a major boost for Andra Pradesh people who have been agitated against the injustice done to Andhra Pradesh people by NDA Government congress president Rahul Gandhi has extended his support to the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Rahul Gandhi has tweeted that "The Congress supports the just demands of the people of Andhra Pradesh for special category status and speedy completion of the Polavaram project. It's time for all parties to unite on this issue and support this call for justice".

Currently, many parties in the state have demanded special category status for the state.Even the ruling party TDP is protesting against the NDA government as it has neglected the state of Andhra Pradesh and has not allocated funds for the development of the state.
