RS 3900 Cr paid to compensate Revenue Defecit

New Delhi Feb 6: Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Tuesday in Rajya Sabha has responded to the protest made by Telugu Desam party MPs in Rajya Sabha.

Jaitley has said that "I have been fully sympathizing and trying to make sure that every part of Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act and the commitments made by the central government at all stages are honored and the central government fully stands by it, We are giving funds for creating institutes ".

FM has also added that "for 10 month period before 14 Finance Commission report the revenue deficit must be made up by the center and I have suggested a formula to compensate the state we have already paid RS 3900 Cr for 3 months and the remaining would be paid soon".
